This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) sets out the procedure for processing and protecting the personal data of users of the website kyrgyzinvest.kg (the “Site”). By using the Site and submitting your data through the feedback forms, you confirm your consent to the terms of this Policy.
1. General provisions
The personal data operator is Link Invest LLC (registration number 326710-3301-OOO, INN 01203202610517, OKPO 34763689), operating through the Site kyrgyzinvest.kg (the “Operator”, “we”).
The Policy has been developed in accordance with the personal data legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic and applies to all information the Operator may obtain about a user during their use of the Site.
By using the Site, the user confirms that they have read this Policy and accept its terms. If the user does not agree with the terms of the Policy, they should refrain from using the Site and from submitting their data.
2. What data we collect
The Operator may process the following categories of data:
- Data provided voluntarily by the user when filling in forms on the Site: name, contact phone number, email address, company or project name, role (investor, fund, founder, partner, government representative), as well as any other information the user enters in the form fields at their own discretion.
- Technical data collected automatically: IP address, browser type and version, data on pages visited, the referral source, advertising campaign tags (UTM parameters), as well as other information transmitted via cookies and similar technologies.
The Operator does not collect special categories of personal data (on health, religious or political beliefs, etc.).
3. Purposes of data processing
Personal data is processed for the following purposes:
- processing requests and enquiries submitted through the Site’s forms;
- contacting the user to provide the requested information, consultations and services;
- assessing the investment readiness of projects and selecting suitable solutions;
- improving the Site’s operation and analysing its traffic and the effectiveness of advertising channels;
- complying with the requirements of applicable law.
4. Legal grounds for processing
Personal data is processed on the basis of the user’s consent, expressed when submitting data through the Site’s forms, as well as in the cases provided for by the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic, including for the performance of a contract to which the user is a party, or to pursue the legitimate interests of the Operator that do not infringe the rights and freedoms of the data subject.
5. Use of cookies
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to ensure correct operation, remember user preferences, collect anonymised statistics and assess the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. The user may at any time restrict or disable the use of cookies in their browser settings; in that case, certain functions of the Site may become unavailable.
6. Transfer of data to third parties
The Operator does not sell or transfer users’ personal data to third parties, except where this is necessary to achieve the purposes of processing and is carried out under a contract ensuring the confidentiality and security of the data. Such parties may include providers of hosting, mailing and web-analytics services and other contractors acting on the Operator’s instructions.
Data may also be transferred at the request of authorised government bodies in the cases and in the manner provided for by the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
7. Data retention periods
Personal data is stored for the period necessary to achieve the purposes of its processing, but no longer than 3 (three) years from the last interaction with the user, unless a different period is established by law or required to fulfil the Operator’s obligations. Once the retention period expires, the data is deleted or anonymised.
8. Protection of personal data
The Operator takes the necessary legal, organisational and technical measures to protect personal data against unlawful or accidental access, destruction, alteration, blocking, copying and distribution. Only authorised persons bound by confidentiality obligations have access to the data.
9. User rights
The user has the right to:
- obtain information about the processing of their personal data;
- request the clarification, blocking or deletion of their data if it is incomplete, outdated, inaccurate or processed in breach of the law;
- withdraw consent to the processing of personal data;
- appeal the actions or inaction of the Operator to the authorised personal data protection body or in court.
To exercise their rights, the user may send a request using the contact details given in section 11 of this Policy.
10. Changes to the Policy
The Operator has the right to make changes to this Policy. The current version of the Policy is posted on this page with the effective date indicated. Continued use of the Site after changes are made constitutes the user’s consent to the updated version of the Policy.
